How long do farm-fresh eggs last? Unwashed farm eggs can last 3-4 weeks at room temperature and up to 3 months in the fridge. Washed eggs should be refrigerated and are best used within a month.

Do farm-fresh eggs need to be refrigerated? If the eggs are unwashed, they can be stored at room temperature because they still have their natural protective "bloom." If washed, they should be kept in the fridge.

Can I wash farm-fresh eggs? It’s best not to wash them until you're ready to use them. Washing removes the natural bloom that protects the egg from bacteria.

Do farm-fresh eggs taste different? Many people find that farm-fresh eggs have a richer flavor, especially the yolks, which tend to be more vibrant in color due to a better diet.

Why do some farm-fresh eggs have different colors? Eggshell color depends on the breed of the chicken. White, brown, blue, green, and even speckled eggs are all normal variations.
